"So, here is the scoop on the Pac Rim; we have been approached and are furiously negotiating, routing, budgeting, and trying to book our Asian tour from Nov.21st – Dec. 2nd to Surabaya, Indonesia; Downtown East, Singapore; Taipei, Taiwan; Bangalore, India, Bangkok, Thailand, Beijing and Shanghai, China. We are also doing Japan as you know (a favorite of the Drovers), and are trying to close South Korea this trip too. "This is a qwik one. I will check in later when we know more, but we have officially confirmed Jakarta, Indonesia with my good friend Tommy Pratama, and Seoul, Korea with our good promoter H. J. Jeon too.

I am so excited to go back to South Korea; it has been a long time and I love the people (especially because of learning so much about Korea for my Chodan). And Jakarta was such a different experience that I doubt I would ever have been able to take all of Indonesia in. However, I would love to go see the waves, but sea snakes scare me, and I seem to remember the surf being great down there, but something was ominous and dangerous about surfing there.

Anyway, I will see great waves the following week in Australia, and while we still are unconfirmed for China, India, and Malaysia, we are still working on making those dreams come true!"

Dude, don't worry. Dave enjoys naming new countries to get people excited. It looks like he has broken the Asian tour to two legs: late-Oct and late-Nov after Australia.

The Singapore one is still under works...cross fingers and we all hope it works out

We have know announced the date in South Korea, and that is the last date that is going to be added to the existing dates for the Pac Rim this time around. We look forward to making it into Singapore, Malaysia, and India on the tour for this record, so to our Droogies in these far away beautiful places, we are working very hard on coming to your country (hell, we would be going back to Malaysia for our second time if there wasn’t a ban on Megadeth from being indirectly and innocently, I might add, involved in a satanic rite in Kuala Lumpur. Someone allegedly spray painted Megadeth on the wall at the site of a ceremony of the occult and we were subsequently banned. We were not even there.
