but it was funny how many conspiracy theory appeared shortly after his escape.

some of the most popular ones i've heard:

1) ISD alledgely interrogated him using torture till he died and thus MHA alledgely decided to put up a fake report about him escaping to cover this.

2) Mas Selamat alledgely had "ilmu batin" (supernatural powers) and that he had a pencil with him in which he drew a picture of a sampan on the wall. Supernaturalist believed that he can appear anywhere in what he drew. <<< This is the most ridiculous of all conspiracy theory that I heard.

3) ISD alledgely let MS go on purpose just so to see where he escapes to and can then perhaps catch the bigger fish.
