Nono, wanna know what's classic? THIS is:

Eric_Cantona_kung-fu_kick.jpg

Soccer Eric Cantona Kung Fu Video - Metacafe
"My best moment? I have a lot of good moments but the one I prefer is when I kicked the hooligan."-Cantona

His flying kicks are so accurate, not only on field but OUT of field... Ouch!!

Or the unforgettable impossible shot:

Cantona Eric - Man Utd-Liverpool Video - Metacafe

"Sometimes in life one experiences an emotion which is so strong that it is difficult to think, or to reason. Sometimes you get submerged by emotion. I think it's very important to express it - which doesn't necessarily mean hitting someone. I am very mistrustful of people who are constantly over-intellectualising things. It kills passion. You have to allow yourself to lose control from time to time."-Cantona
^This I am guilty of...

Or to sum it all up in his most memorable quote:
"I am God."-Cantona

=_=

Now, if you take a look at the picture again, but focus on the background...

You see: :shock::-o:???::shock:

Haha... Basically a lot of live emoticons!

hahaha! thanks for the links, MWWB! nice volley, nicer flying kungfu kick! heh!

rooney's playing style's kinda reminiscent of cantona's in a way, yes? both are pretty darn brilliant footballers; excellent footballing brains and having a knack of popping up with spectacular goals every now and then, but also very susceptible to that moment of lunacy heh.

Barclays Premier League
Old Trafford, Sat 29 March

MANCHESTER UNITED 4
Ronaldo 17, Tevez 33,
Rooney 53, 70

ASTON VILLA 0

On a day when Arsenal showed a flicker of hope remains in their title bid, United sent an emphatic message to the Gunners and fellow rivals Chelsea.

Reds trio pass the test

Edwin van der Sar, Ryan Giggs and Patrice Evra all appeared to come through training unscathed as United spent an hour on the Stadio Olimpico pitch on Monday night.

Michael Carrick, however, was forced to watch from the sidelines after picking up an injury in the Reds’ weekend win over Aston Villa.

Earlier on Monday, Sir Alex Ferguson admitted there was some uncertainty surrounding Giggs and Evra’s fitness, but neither showed any sign of discomfort during the evening session.

The Reds began with light stretching before progressing to some basic ball work and a small-sided game.

Mikael Silvestre, with only two Reserves games under his belt since damaging cruciate ligaments last September, looked fit and sharp.

Rio Ferdinand, who also came off against Villa, looked fine in the session, despite nursing a black eye sustained during Saturday’s league win.

ManUtd is looking good now.

since im still online, i shall post a first half review.

Roma 0 - 1 Man Utd Ronny 39'

both teams started strong but honestly it was really boring. both teams opting for more defensive formations Roma playing 4-5-1 with two DMs and ManUtd too with 4-3-2-1 aka Christmas Tree(preferred formation on away games in CL). Not many chance were created with hardly any shots on target during the match up till the goal.

at bout the 30th min or so, Vidic landed awkwardly and had to be taken off by a golf cart. Lets all hope its not a long term injury. He was replaced by oshea on the 34th min.

Goal: ManUtd countered a Roma attack with slow build up.. scholes got the ball in the penalty box and held up the ball for a moment. known for his vision, he puts up a floating ball which ronny comes running in to head the ball. Against the run of play i might say.
NOTE: Ronny was marked real tight, and at a point by 3 Roma players.

Finally, anderson showed in immaturity in terms of playing when he got yellow-carded for a petty foul. so yeah.

one-sided review but hey, ManUtd fan right here. and yeha missed out on alot of stuff but yeah.

anyway Barca leading 1-nil Krkic putting them in lead at 12 mins.

if i dont fall asleep i will put 2nd half review as well.
