yah, of the twins the leftback has more potential then his rightback brother..

and i agree with dime, theyre still too young.. probbly a season or two in youth and reserve teams then they'd be ready..


for striking, saha is really trouble lah.. always getting injured, once he recovers, he'll get injured the next few days..
 
yah, how to achieve consistency like that if he keeps getting injured man?

mm gotta see how fergie continues to build his youth/reserve team..they've manage to carve out some gems from time to time!

United defender Rio Ferdinand will captain England in Wednesday night's match against France.

For his first game in charge, new England manager Fabio Capello entrusted Steven Gerrard with the captaincy but he appears to have implemented a rotation policy as he searches for a long-term leader.

Many had expected Chelsea skipper John Terry to be given the nod for the Stade de France friendly, but an FA statement confirmed Ferdinand will lead the side instead. Fabio Capello will explain his decision at a press conference on Tuesday night.

Ferdinand, who sometimes skippers United in the absence of Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, has played 65 times for England so far.

looks like beckham aint going to get his 100th cap WITH the captaincy. Poor guy. haha. I like ferdinand alot, hes probably the smoothest defender i ve seen. Super chillax, yet he usually gets the job done with style.

I think manu wont be looking for a midfielder, right now we have Nani, Giggs, Park, Ronny, Scholes, Fletcher, Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson. Defender? Possible, especially right back. I think fergie would LOVE to get a right back who is exactly what evra is. Super hardworking, fast, and great in both attack and defense.

Striker also possible, given Saha's insane injury rate. Damn retarded. Benzema is one, huntelaar also comes to mind for some reason. Haha. Who is this manucho? and brazillian twins? shit i feel stupid that i dunno manu's transfer news.
 
i'd say the twins would play in the youth team for a season, then would be loaned out to one of man utd's affiliate clubs, possibly antwerp. but i'm pretty darn sure that any one of the lower division clubs would be more than happy to take them in!

poor saha, he's as suay as suay can get man. he does good when he's fit though, pity man utd forked out so much cash for him. you can see he has bags of quality - nice burst of acceleration, deft touches, good strength on the ball, eye for goal, quick feet even in tight situations, jumps good with a pretty nice hang time and so on.

the only thing man utd's lacking is a poacher and an young RB to take over from neville, from what i see. could invest in a handful of 15/16 year olds too, i guess.

ferdinand's DA BOMB yo. it's about time, and let's hope he impresses capello since capello's yet to decide on a permanent captain.
 
imo, man utd WILL buy a RB, for sure. Nevilie can't make it anymore.
I'm not a Ferdinand fan though, he has improved in consistency, I give him that, but he used to be so clumsy, and still is now and then. John Terry + Carragher = good England team, but oh well. :)

Yeah, Man utd need a striker than can score. Rooney does, but not on a regular basis. They can't keep relying on Ronaldo..
 
i agree on manu not having to be over reliant on ronaldo. But not the terry-carragher combination. haha i HATE terry. Stupid dirty player. He and lampard are dirty as hell. But carragher is a very good defender
 
When evra 1st came, i didnt like him at all.. I prefer Heinze, because he was damn good at dribbling the ball for attack also. Now evra has been improving in attack.. If only his shot accuracy is like scholes, can become a goalscoring defender liao..

i was like you man.. i saw his debut, he sucked. but now hes one of my faves in the current team.. he is the only defender playing this season yet to score..

manutd has a few young strikers in reserves, most loaned out for match experience.. but in prev seasons, before they get a game for manutd, most of them would get sold off..
 
haha yeah. same here. evra missed SOOOOOO many chances. Everytime i see evra infront of the opponent's goal, i close my eyes.

haha FULLY agree. I still remember the day both him and vidic made their debut and they were both horrible, i thought ferguson had lost his mind. Now look at those 2, two anchors in the manu defense.

I really hope manu get into the champ's league finals. For players like giggs and scholes, esp scholes who missed the '99 one, hes one of those players who is so damn talented he just HAS to play in a champions league final. N hes getting older so really soon he wont be of enough standard and youth to be able to keep up..:(
 
talking bout keane scoring, i rmb him scoring an own goal against valencia i think..

but to his defense, he trying to keep the ball out of net.
