dude, that sounds just a tad antagonising. but i agree with your GnR analogy, although definitely not from a united fan's point of view.

gentlemen gentlemen

bros
everybody chill. this is getting personal.let us enjoy the win for the moment, a battle won but not yet the war.

nobody owns anybody here a living so keep cool and let the matter rest.
If United retain the title, you guys are welcome to Ayer Rajah Food Centre and have a Tiger--on me..

MadWereWolfBoy: i didnt and have not assumed that you're a liverpool fan. i'm just slightly dissed off that my issue was with Plastic and not you, yet you barged in. but hell, you've every right to do so.

yes, when i started supporting man utd, they were at the top. banging in goals, collecting domestic titles for fun. BUT i didnt support them for that. my dad was a true blue man utd fan. he was supporting them since the days of liverpool's dominance and when nottingham forest was in european cup. he used to tell me loads and loads of stories of man utd. that got me hooked on them. or maybe i just wanted to be a daddy's boy. heh.

i dont go around saying man utd is the best, yada yada, cos i know they're not. i'm a fan of theirs, but i'm too, a realist. no matter how much you love your team, they'll never be THE best. i can tell you honestly, i dont really like the current man utd team. yes they're exciting, they play real good football. i kinda hate cristiano ronaldo, his showboating, theatrics and all. i only really like scholes in the current team.

and sorry to disappoint you, but i wont be running to my mommy in fear. she aint around no more. thanks for bringing it up such a sensitive issue.

and dudes, i'm very relaxed. we're all entitled to voicing out our comments. MadWereWolfBoy doesnt like me, i'm cool with that. at least he confronts me, not like those backstabbing buggers out there.

fuzztremecho: Archipelago instead, can or not?

same here dude, my sisters and i got hooked onto man utd because our dad was sucha huge fan. we were 8 and 6 years old around 1997-98, i believe. maybe it was coincidence the club i'd heard most about were the ones winning nearly all the time, but i believe we've seen man utd through a couple of dry spells. <3 devils.

ruixist: lol i was 9 around the 97/98. was just about getting into soccer then, my dad would bring me to the national stadium with my uncles for singapore cup matches! yup, we've seen man utd through a couple of dry spells, not this year though! or is it too early to celebrate? heh.

MadWereWolfBoy: no worries buddy, it's not like you meant it. deepest apologies for my asinine statements before.

i'd err on the side of caution and say it's too early to celebrate. it's a serious round of big games coming up still! but i like dreaming....and then seeing those dreams come true come may. hehe.

bro jeepers

archipelago-nah a bit ex lah bro

sit down Ayer Rajah hawker centre, can Tiger and buy mee goreng, chow kuay teow, sup tulang and whatever you want..cheaper lah.

hehehe i'm a lover of cheap and good stuff

ruixist: yup still got chelsea away and arsenal at home. gotta pick maximum points for the other games though. i'm gonna take a leap of faith and say we'll clinch the epl title. cant say the same for ucl though.

fuzztremecho: hahahaa was kidding about archipelago la bro! sounds like a plan! we should gather all the man utd fans here on soft when man utd wins the league!

my brother was recently invited to archipelago at circular road to sample all their brews cos he's updating the singapore travel guide. lucky prick!

your brother is one lucky dude!

ya lah, man utd *should* win the title. five points sounds quite comfortable. not as formidable a lead as they've had before, but decent. then again, wasn't arsenal five ahead at some point this season? if their form holds up, it will definitely boil down to the games vs the gunners and the blues.

yup he sure is! his job has many many perks, the little trip to archipelago brewery was just one. and mind you, he's only an intern. currently studying in NTU mass comm lol.

hahaah yup arsenal screwed up and they're paying for it. no easy task but i reckon man utd will do good and we'll celebrate at the end of the season! man utd just needs to win every other game, and not lose against the gunners and blues.

i only see one problem though (might not really be a problem), the strikers aren't really scoring! ronnie's been saving the games, and an occasional strike from ferdinand and WES BROWN?! i'd be happy to see slightly better consistency from the strikers.

wowee NTU mass comm! is it very hard to get a place in the course?
(sounds as though i'm interested in studying there, but i didn't apply for uni after a's)

Where are you going then?

Lol, off topic.
Glad everything's fine now yeah. GL. The bigger the support, the bigger the ego. We're all like that, it's inevitable.

yup. they cant just keep relying on ronny for the goals. man utd needs a striker who scores consistently. but lol, i was so happy for wes brown when he scored. man utd's defenders have a habit of scoring against liverpool eh.

hmmm NTU mass comm. prolly fairly difficult i guess? my brother wanted to do law but he failed the interview so he chose mass comm. he had A A B and an A for GP, if i remember correctly.

you didnt apply for uni? what are you gonna do then? anyway, girls can well afford taking time off heh. take a year and travel round the world or sth. that's what i would do, if i didnt have to do NS.

woah that sounds fairly difficult indeed. haha and it's not like bombed my A's or anything, but i'm going to SP! no uni for me, not for now. a simple case of disinterest in academia i suppose. hopefully the poly route can take me far in the direction i wanna go.

hmm you mentioned something about not liking the current team, why's that?

plastic: big support, big ego, big GAMES COMING UP (:

heh! what are you gonna do in SP?

oh, dont get me wrong. i just prefer the treble-winning team lol. i really liked teddy sheringham and roy keane, hah.

i think i just dont really like ronny. way too theatrical for my liking. he does unnecessary stuff and flicks. sure is entertaining though, but a tad frustrating at times. but i'd have to agree, the present squad's prolly the best ever. need a goal-machine and maybe a young lad with bags of potential to be gary neville's understudy. i actually thought alan hutton would have been a great addition to man utd's backline.

i smell the bpl throphy for this season!!

i have strong feeling man u will bring back the glory of 99
well may not be the treble
BUT
bring the european cup home babey!!

Glory Glory Man United!!!

up me if your a man u fan!

yeah, the treble winners were the first man utd team i really got to know. teddy sheringham, bless him. and peter schmeichel. no one's been able to reproduce the midfield tenacity that keane brought to the team either! carrick and fletcher try, but they don't have that 'fire'.

yeah the backline needs some work, i really don't trust ferdinand and brown all that much, and someone's got to take over from neville soon. he's aging together with giggsy and scholes! at the moment they seem so irreplaceable i cannot imagine a day when they'll all be retired. and we know it'll happen soon. sigh

OT: hahaha i'm going to do music and audio tech. it's a risk, but a risk i'm willing to take! better than studying something i'm not interested in.

well giggsy and scholes already have their replacements in the likes of our new youngsters Anderson and Nani.

for G.Neville I was hoping Unired secured Alan Hutton when he was with Rangers but spurs got him first.
