but whether or not he's young or had a great game, it didnt warrant humiliating fellow professional players. sure it was great fun to watch, but those of you who play soccer would know how much it sucks if someone did the same to you.

he he bro, this kinda thing is unavoidable...

hahaha yup it's unavoidable, but also not encouraged at the same time.

imagine if someone like a certain ROY KEANE abhorred the slight bit of showboating you did, then gave you a nasty tackle that would eventually force you out of the game.

i'm not saying it'd happen, but you never know. shit happens, there are maniacs out there.

dude ronaldinho did in his first season at barcelona and i dont see such criticism and when nani does it there so much "disrespect" brought up against his name.its either arsenal are sore losers or man utd have players of better attributes.

hhahaha i'd like to see it as man utd has players of better attributes

there've been loads of showboating incidents, particularly by brazilians.

alexandre pato (ex-internacional, now ac milan) - juggled ball on shoulder
kerlon (cruzeiro, i think. former man utd target) - juggled ball using head. one match i watched, u-17/20 game between brazil and colombia, kerlon did the exact same time, the colombian defender gave him a solid but absolutely nasty chest-high tackle.

everyone is criticising nani for showboating and not many people have the skills of nani to do that anway.. and why isnt anyone criticising gallas for kicking nani when the ball was 20 yards away..

Like what dime said, ronaldinho did such things but no one is criticising.. Think about it another way, what if arsenal had won the game instead and nani did a showboating, would u all be this angry? You are now unhappy because arsenal lost not really because of the showboating of nani.

Fgl if u really not happy den don't post here la, heres for manu fans thats why called manu thread. Go read the 1st post of this thread by dime.

in Tony Adams or Martin Keown's time..Nani would have had a broken leg for that kind of showboating .... nani & Fergie should get down on their knees and thank the lord it's the new AFC with gentlemen Gallas & Toure ....

BTW thats what Gilberto told him in Portugese when he pulled Nani aside ... dont gloat or overdo it.

gilberto should just bugger off. outplayed outran outsmarted in midfield. read today's newpaper. it's time to head off, gilberto.

i see nothing wrong with nani showing off. think about it as a strategy to piss the arsenal players off even more. It is almost the same concept as like running to the corner flag at e last minute. But of course on the receiving end it must REALLY suck cuz i also kena before during a match. But it is still good in shaking up the opponents. I really dont think its a bad thing

That's why he hasn't been playing much this season.
I believe he only went up to speak to him, which is right, because he's one of the more " senior " players.
I'd like to see nani do that infront of Gattuso or Cannavaro.

i think saying some else is showboating isnt proffesional at all.hope man utd draw with chelsea in the q-final.so the fa cup path is much clearer.

well. if nani can show off and yet still produce the quality results. why not? keep at it, Nani played well in the match.

good job. mannn. when giggs and scholes retire.

Manchester united's midfield.

L-Nani, C-Carrick, C-Anderson, R - Ronaldo

wooot. shioknesss.

no space for fletcher or hargreaves? hargreaves im neutral. for fletcher im actually more of a hater! haha. but against arsenal he did play very well and i think his retarded running around and bugging other opponents might work out not bad.

I don't see what the fuss is all about Nani.
He freaking performed, about time too, after how many games with wtf-freaking price tag slapped on him. In-consistency = bad bad.
