Major feedback from amp. nid help

Ibanez GSA60 wif SDs -> Boss MIT unmod OS-2 -> Digitech RP80 -> Behringer AC108.

with the noise gate in the rp80 at max, i still get lots of buzzing noise.
and my drummer bangs real loud so i haf to set the volume high. and then BUZZING BECOMES MAJOR FEEDBACK.
it comes only when the os-2 is switched on and when not playing. so i haf to press it when i play and cut immediately.

any suggestions on how to improve this?

Usually multi-effects processors like your RP80 are designed to work on their own with no other pedals or the like. Its supposed to provide all the effects, like a whole pedalboard. I think its the incompatibility that causes this. If you remove the OS-2 from the set-up I think the feedback will be gone.

try a different distortion pedal first, and see how the feedback level works with it. it could be your os-2 that's faulty. Also see thread sticky on grounding your amps.
lastly, check all your cables, try switching them around and see if it makes a difference.

haha, i'm using BOSS ML-3 and IBANEZ TS-9, gives a fcukload of feedback. i got quite irritated and bought a NS-2 and it seems to be doing the job, lesser feedback and good tone. But if you wanna invest in that you might wanna try it out with all your pedals when you go to the shop to double confirm it does the trick.
