Mac has competition...

Interesting!! This reminds me of the days in the 90s when Apple licensed third-party manufacturers to design and sell their own Mac OS machines...I remember I had a Mac-clone built by Radius (the monitor company) :)

Still too early to tell how this technology will catch on, but the price is very attractive, I must admit.

As they put it, they are still waiting for Apple to give them the green light instead of finding themselves ending up in court.

Remember the days of Apple II and Pineapple?

It's true that the progress of (x86) technology might have just proved Apple's hardware+software bundles' monopoly to be one big joke, but I'm not so sure a stunt like this will affect the company's overall sales and computer systems' market control (still growing from 7-10%).
