luthermusic store very messy?

messy or not, perhaps its up to individual's evaluation.

For me, a shop with knowledgeable and helpful staffs are the most important. No point walking into a store lined up with 100 guitars and all you get is someone following you around. When you have queries or ask about the specs, all you get are "oh this is good" or "smoke bombs".

Argue that they should need a presentable storefront, but without capable staffs i don't think having a nice layout helps too.

haha ok.. its quite err weird la i feel. ok i gonna visit them soon, erm just wondering, do they stock all the guitars they have on the wall?

the guys at luthers are great man...was there for some soldering job few days back...he did'nt want to accept payment till he confirmed the job can be done

heh heh... another +1 for luther

what can I say? for someone who's in the business for so long, he is still approachable, friendly and sincere as before.

Everyone starts business with good intentions and strive to push boundaries... I'm only assuming. Even the best will be jaded when placed in the battlezone of idiotic customers and warring competitors.

+10000000000000000 for luther. He's da man. He rocks. He da bomb... he (fill in the blanks for the latest l33t $p3@kand teenage adjective for pwn)

IMO, Luther's store is the best in the Excelsior/Peninsula area. His store was more presentable when it was in Ginza... I guess he needs to do some spring-cleaning, and throw a spring-cleaning party with discounts!!!

Everytime I go near/to Guitar 77, I feel that it's a Blues Brothers convention or something like that. If you're in the area and you hear something bluesy, it's definitely coming from that store!!

Guitar Connection is mainly a 2nd-hand store. I personally have ZERO interest in 2nd-hand guitars. Don't flame me or argue with me on this, it's my opinion but you're definitely welcomed to ask why.

Davis... You guys know what it's like to shop there... :x

Sad thing is, Luther operates largely as a reseller. He is only an authorized dealer for Yamaha, but I believe that he can go very far if he fought for authorized dealership over Samick Greg Bennett guitars and basses. Do your research on Samick, and you will probably agree with me...

So does the the layout of a guitar store matter?? Absolutely not. The local guitar market is really f**ked up, so be happy you have someone like Luther around.

No BS, pure sincerity and honesty. I got nothing but love and respect for him and his store.

Cheers

Hmm

Anyone knows whois that Malay Ah Bang at the shop. He got a very friendly & nice attitude & he bothers to clarify certain doubts I have instead of shutting out. Ever since that 1st time I went to chg my pickups, I've been going back to Luther Music to do my setup, config as well as repairs.

+1,000,000 for their great services & attitude.

i don't think so... they may keep some stuff at some other storage house....

best if u can give them a call to check if u're eyeing sumthing u wanna buy... that way, he'd be able to tell u whether if its there'r not and when he'd be able to bring it in

don't you feel like ur in jail when you go to Swee in BB with da iron fence? Then they put the nice guitars in the room so u feel like goldfish when tey let u in there.

and don't forget, making you leave your bags at the front... i think this is classic bad policy if you talk about customer service...

no offence if swee lee staff reads this, but hope you guys take it as a point to improve.

I always wondred with this kionda leave yr bags policy...

smallitems securely behind counter...large items eg guitar cant possibly put in bags..so...? funni right?
