LTD DV8

Hi all. Was wondering if anyone has this guitar and if so how does it play? I'm thinking of getting this one, but in Malaysia the price is kinda high (roughly translates to SG2,500). Does anyone know the price of it and where it is available in Singapore? Was thinking I'd try Davis the next time i'm in town. Any help would be cool, cheers!

Yeap definitely talking about new ones. I checked out the US price and found out the Malaysian price for it is massively jacked up!!! So wanted to check out Singapore before ordering from overseas I guess. Any clues on the pricing at Davis? I know Davis has the ESP one, but LTD?

Thanks sub!! I actually just got back from there yesterday cos I came to town for the Slayer gig! According to them, they USED to have it, but not anymore - but the LTD they described was totally different from the one I was looking for? I know that the LTD DV8 actually comes with active pickups, but this guy was describing something with passive pickups going around the region of SG1500. Please let me know if you found out something different. Cheers!

IIRC, the DV8's older versions used to come with passive seymour duncan humbuckers. The livewire pickups were only a recent change; so older stock should still have the passive set.
