Looking for advise on good and affordable location for outdoor concert

Hi Softies,

I would like to ask fellow softies who have organised outdoor concerts in Singapore. It is nothing major but I would like to organise a concert to be held outdoors - perhaps a venue which you have already seen being used for similar events already. I don't mind paying for the venue but it has to be affordable and best is if it already has an elevated stage - an amphitheater style (similar to esplanade outdoor) will be really cool.

Please do share your experience. knowledge on this.

How about Hong Lim Park? I was there last Sunday for the Love In concert. Quite a nice place and it has a ready stage.

i would like to line-up local bands....a platform for them to perform their originals and some covers....a free concert.... rock & roll show....like a woodstock thing....will work on getting sponsors so that we can payoff expenses and perhaps some funds for the bands...
