Longer Lasting acoustic guitar strings..

Hello all.

Anybody knows of any relatively longer lasting acoustic strings? Currently using DR coloured strings but wish to try out other strings for the next string change.

The D'addario EXP strings claim longer life. Anyone used it before?

my fren uses it. lasts pretty long for a guy with mild sweaty palms. can last like 2 mths?

i've tried some coated strings like exp and elixirs... they do last longer but tone would be compromised a little...

now i just use normal daddarios and change them when i need to... i find that i don't save much $$ (infact i think i spend more) when iuse coated strings...

i just wipe down the trebel un wound strings with tissue before and after i play... works well in removing the black grime and brown rusts.

I tried the D'addario EXP, didn't like it, sounded abit muffled. Think elixir's are your best bed, but they are expensive.
I'm just using normal daddario and changing every few weeks.

I like elixers. They sound very good.

I bought the high E string from davis cos my coloured one broke.. Brand is "stay in tune" i think.. It rusted after 2 weeks. so i may end up spending alot on strings. Not sure if the string is poor quality or my hands are that bad.
