One suggestion for those who are new out there to free VSTis. Download them. Install them. Try them. But if you are not going to use them, don't leave them lying around your DAW. Takes up space, and occasionally cause instability. Best are those which you can just copy into the VST plugin folder. Those that requires installation (ie an .exe file) - you have to be very cautious. It changes registries, and if not careful, something that should be there gets into it. DAW needs to be as stable as possible.

Cos this was written by the dude before he made
cubase.

and the best of all, its almost like a Cubase LE, with
free plug-ins, and supports VST! So no need to resort
to piracy, just scour deeper in cyberspace

if i'm not wrong protools doesn't support VST. Only RTAS and TDM. some one correct me if i'm wrong. cheers.
