i got one...the spider 2 30 watter...hate it...
seems like the amp got pms..some days it sounded fine some days not...only thing workin for me is ironically the overdrive channel...

hahaha no please dont get the fender frontman! on distortion mine only sounds okay when the treble is at 0. and there's this irritating sound coming from it whenever i turn it up.

if willing to top up an additional 100, get the ibanez valbee. Sure won't regret. Full tube amp, Can get loud. Sounds sterile when played soft, crank up the vol and feel the tone. Bottom end is present too. Amazing for a 5w amp and a small speaker.

I second the Valbee. It's great value for the money : active EQ, effects loop and fiery glass bottles! Dun like the tone? Change the tubes!

changing the tubes wont change the tone from say fender to marshall, tube change is a very subtle. Dun expect miracles.

Ofcos, not. But at least one can switch to something with less gain, or with more bite, etc.
