Jk la, i would definately be willing to buy. I would rather u give the other 9 copies to ppl who're not familiar at all to the local music scene and who don't but lime magazine.

I think that this is a great idea - though long overdue. Ever since the demise of BigO (the magazine i.e.) there hasn't been any local publication championing local music.
So fact that LIME is doing this is encouraging... of course this is Mediacorp we're talkin' about so commercial factors will hold sway and this is where local music fans come in.
Let's turn LIME into a local music magazine!!!

Of course there's a need to balance it out, but I do think a local CD idea is worth a shot. It's like testing waters? The last CD giveaway LIME did was like Backstreet Boys some 12 years ago or something I don't know heh.
So you guys must support if you can ok? Don't worry; however well this 'guinea pig' issue sells, it doesn't affect me directly. Either way I get paid the same amount of salary lol.
But I'm thinking of management, if through this they can be made even more aware that there IS a local music scene market to cater to, imagine how much more willing they'd be to spend resources on stuff like this? It's already uncommon for them to invest time and effort into this already, so hopefully it'll be worth a while for them to bring more support on.

When is the issue coming out? I thought I saw a Feb issue of Lime mag on the shelves today.
