u can try the fernandes ravelle. I have the elite and its really light. Much lighter than any strat ive tried.

Another option: epiphone les paul ultra, solid body with hollow chambers to reduce weight.

3rd option: Yamaha rgx A2.

i got a daisy rock, girl guitar, people say its lighter than normal guitars.. i want to weight it, but so sorry i dont have scales at home..

if you think your guitar is heavy, do invest in a padded strap- it makes a diff for those of us who strap-on our instruments most of the time.

hands down peavey raptor is the freaking lightest electric guitar. I have a back problem too. The nurse said my backbone isn't straight. but it isn't that bad...

I have a light SSH Vantage fat strat with me for sale.

Its considerably lighter than fender strats, but has similar specs and tone. People mistook it for a fender strat even at many of my gigs :lol:

My 10yr old INDO Samick is light. Of course its a cheapo beginner guitar which feels like its made of plywood.
