Hey,
Does anyboby can help me for the action?
I am a new player to les paul, can anybody tell me how to set up the action for les paul cos I am having fret buzz on my 1st string. duh.
thanks in advance.
Wahx,
Wah. I'm amazed that you can come to such a definite diagnostic that the nut is the problem; without even seeing and handling the actual guitar. Best still, from just single sentence description from the threadstarter.
There are so many factors to consider when you encounter fret-buzz. The nut may be the cause, but from personal experience, it's usually the neck itself, or uneven frets.
Do refrain from making such sweeping and misleading statements.
My advise is for the threadstarter to bring it to a reputable tech to get it checked out. As always, I recommend Mike from Standard Value, KC from Zen, and Beez from Look For Beez.
@jonaslaso24:
Not all LPs (or guitars, for that matter, actually) will encounter the same problem. Its best to go down to the shop (in this case, Im assuming SV) and try it out thoroughly, get the guitar checked over by Mike or any of the staff there if you're unsure. They are really nice people and I'm sure they won't screw you over on any problems. Usually you get the same guitar you tested, so it's a chance to check everything out on the spot and bring home a guitar you're satisfied with!
