leather guitar straps

u guys noe where got sell them? i find that with my nylon strap my guitar keep sliding off when im wearing smooth clothing, though it grips fine when im playin naked

do u think a leather strap will solve the problem? how much the cost roughly neways

city music has plenty to choose

but long time ago have nicer ones
which are real thick leather......

i feel nowadays one not so nice

Swee Lee Sims Drive has some nice ones at abt $60+. They're very well padded and acceptably thick too. Jus that they're beige in colour but i tink function shld come b4 looks.

ranking sports and music(bras basah...opp swee lee) have those as well.....the synthetic leather only for abt 20$ only.....but I must warn u....if u like to carry ur guitar down low like me, then those straps will be too short for u.....

Hey Reez, i wasn't talking abt the Planet Waves straps, i meant the ones available only at Sims Drive, sry abt the error in my last post. They are longer and thicker, with extra padding and are hanging on the wall next to the cables.

I got my Levy's leather strap at around 30bucks thereabout from Davis. They have quite a selection there, same goes for Swee Lee and Ranking.

It's true the 20-buck ones at Ranking don't go too low, but I've discovered that it has improved my playing posture, instead of having to bend down and causing my back to be strained.

I used to carry my guitars very low, and I still do... but not like Jimmy Page kinda-low anymore.

anyways i checked out the stores at penin and they hav some pretty neat straps but they dont hav any straps that will go as long as i would like...

You want THAT low ar???

I have an ESP strap that I bought at Davis some time ago, damn low, and it's already on its highest setting.
But that's like very very thin, Slash kinda thin.
I love that strap though.

Home made...
step one, find an alligator (upper serangoon road even provides the already made leather) and get the skin.
Step 2, ensure steve irwin's spirit does not huant you.
Step 3, cut the shape to anything you desire.
Voila!

they can accede to custom request such as color and length although i went with the standard catalouge items. But Edo bro here went with a custom length and color.
