I think it boils down to musical taste for this one. As with other Vai albums. Personally i find it interesting, enjoyable to listen to because of the way he improvises. And there's this track "Yai Yai", where his guitar sounds like some tribal fella singing, with the help of wah of course. Overall i like it. Give it a try man, don't like it? Sell it on ebay or yahoo

Whoah the cosmic CD is really great stuff to listen to.

Yeah, I love it. Compression was great, but Comic....Should be forced upon every bassist. I really like 'Long Walk Home', ummm smooth.
