Geez. In answering the pedals side of things, I totally forgot the more important thing.

Tweaking the Amp.

Many an "issue" can be solved by tweakage. Just got to know how to do it. You might not get it on the dot but at least it can get close. Its a skill but once your ears are used to it, there should be little issue getting down a nice tone regardless of amps.

Landmine is great, but it is not true bypass. The builder claimed it is in an email. Don't ask me why he lied. I wanna know too.

Whether it has true bypass or not, as long as it perform to your liking, it is good.

In my case, while I like the Landmine a lot, I wish the sweep range of the EQ setting is more linear.

Heck, I don't mind owning it just for novelty. :lol:

oh wait..the amp i used at the studio was a smarvo half stack full tube.

Ahh, that's a different story then. haha.

Another thing is, I find it excessively bright and too metal-zone-seque (i find metal zone distasteful) on neutral EQ setting unless used with a very warm sounding amp. So I usually put treble down to 10 o'clock.

But used with the correct combination, and it blows you away. =)

i actually found out, that fuzzes take to solid-state amps better then tube amps. go figure!
