My support goes to Kris because he is a multi talented artiste and i believe that will help him in his career. At a certain close up angle, he looks like Chris Daughtry.
Adam no doubt is vocally talented. He may lost the Idol title but he is already an Idol icon.

Kinda disappointing but everyone needs to quite whining about how Adam is better than Kris. As much as i wanted Adam Lambert to win, Kris Allen is still an amazing and talented singer who deserves just as much credit even if he can't reach Adam Lambert's freakishly high pitch. The American Idol title is only a status. David Cook won the title, but it seems like David Archuleta is doing better with tours etc. So even though Kris Allen won the title, it doesn't mean that he's going to do better in terms of CD sales and tours.
By the way, you spelled his name wrongly in the title. Allen, not Allan.
Ps: I'd definitely love to see Adam Lambert playing Galileo in WWRY. Hehehe.

Okay, these two, allen and lambert are rockers, they both did great in motown etc, but i think Gokey has a better carreer path if he choses the music industry as his foodbowl because, beacause solo rock carrers don't always turn out the best, like bands when they broke up, somewent solo but could never achieve ultimate victory especially glam rockers like billy idol after awhile the fad tides down and he slowly does not create songs with that much IMPACT.
Gokey on the otherhand may not rock out as well as the other two, but his voice is amazing great for ballads etc, these kind of songs after attaining media success, will become a classic, who can forget every rose has its thorn? Or even a person with a non rocking persona like lionel richie(As seen on American Idol) still can be remembered by rockers and non rockers alike.
If you ask someone of the different trade like RnB/HipHop to listen to Purple Haze compared to Hello, I bet they would choose Hello(LR's Song) over purple haze.. though this may seem unfair, but this is how cruel the music industry is, if you don't perform well, bye bye, your out of a job.
Unless these people can make classics that can stand the discrimination of music over time, the success will be theirs

Not all Idol winners can sell records though. Remember that past winner Taylor Hicks? His album sales is really mediocre, and he doesn't have any star quality at all. Simon Cowell was right when he told Taylor in an early round he would have trouble becoming an artiste that sells records. His style is more suited to performing live in Las Vegas hotels alongside singers like Tom Jones and Wayne Newton.
As for Lambert and Allen, I think both will do very well in future. I like the performance by Lambert and KISS though.
