SAME ! My friends who watched american idol told me that theres slash on american idol . I was like WAT !? So i started watching . Lol . Thats where i knew adam lambert's super high vocals he can reach and allison the hot redhead

i have always enjoyed AI for the hugeeeeeeee amount of talent on the show especially this season's one, but the finale was hell of a disappointment imo. kris allen is good no doubt. but vocal ability wise he is hell nowhere near adam lambert. I guess many people are jealous of adam lambert because they can't be him sadly. This officially shows that american idol is NOT a singing competition (which simon cowell keeps stressing that it is and should be) because the best 2 singers this year ALLISON and ADAM didnt win.

Kris first performance on final when he sing and play piano at the same time is really good, I must say. That's the winning performance I believe.

American Idol is all about voting. You can just pick up the phone or text and keep voting for the same person again and again. Most of all, there are really a lot of good singers around and they should be proud of themselves after a long fight!

I watched the finale last night. It was an awesome show!. I really like Kara's vocals and her performance.

Anyway, I preferred Kris's version of Kara's song, No Boundaries.

I was sooo happy that adam performed with them.

It was really nice of kris to do the backups vocals when Adam sang with Queen.

I'm never watching American Idol again. First, Daughtry, now this.

the way i see it, it was win-win situation for Adam. why?

1) Daughtry proved you don't have to win to be successful. he is doing way better than Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee, either that i just don't listen to the other 2.
2) the only Idol winner constantly in the charts is Kelly Clarkson, so being winner doesn't really mean star..
3) Jennifer Hudson didn't win during her season but she got an Academy Award, 'nuff said. aha.

so yeah, Adam is a superstar already, so he don't really need to be the Idol winner..

I thought the finale was fking amazing. Is i always like this for every season?? This is the first time I've followed the AMI season closely because I'm a huge huge fan of both Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert.

Haha yeah. Kris and Adam (but mainly Adam) are what caused me to follow this season. The list of guest stars are pretty impressive this season too, Slash, Kiss, Queen, etc.

OMG DONT GET ME STARTED.
Half my school ponned cause they wanted to watch the 8am telecast on channel five. My mother was excited but coudltn finish watching cause she had to go to work. Me? i was checking exam scripts. suddenly one girl whispered Kriss won! then. within 10 seconds word got around and the whole school started screamingg!!! my teacher was like "what happened???!?!?"
Discipline mistress came and said " Girls. I dont wana know whats happening in America. " HAHA. and she sid "this goes to show one thing. One of u is using your phone here."

Anyway, i think kris dont deserve to win. High notes his pitchy. evident from the last song he sang. Adam should have won. Although i cheered for danny all the way
