Ok..after searching the internet for ages...i thought i had better post this up here...
LOL..

Ok..basically..i'm looking for a pedal board...anyone heard of it b4? Roland PK5 - Dynamic MIDI Pedal is one...but it seems like its not sold in singapore...anyone know where i can find one...

Its a set of pedals with 13 keys or more to make a keyboard into an organ...(almost like one...) by using 2 keyboards and 1 set of pedals...the reason why i wanna look for it is cause my organs are just too bulky and i feel that thats the only way to save space..anyone know where?

Before i make any decisions...can u answer some of my questions?

1) The pk5 is 13 key right? how do u control the volume?

2) Is the PK5 compatible with all keyboards or only the roland combo organ? and how to u connect? MIDI in?

3) Why do u wish to sell it? I mean are there any problems with it or are u not satisfied with it such as the sound it produces? How do u rate it?

4) is it available in singapore?

Your price is acceptable for me..but i need to clarify all these...thanks for the offer and info in advance...

Few more things...

1) have u heard of the pk7?

2) is the pk5 able to work together with other expression pedals?

3) What are the sounds available (instruments for bass)?

Hi Ms BlueLite,

FYI, I'm not the seller. The ad appears in Luthermusic,
you may call the seller to enquire.

I did want to get a MIDI pedal to play some Electone music
but maybe my room is overstock. guess not.

If you want to buy a new one and Swee Lee is not selling,
you may want to go Malaysia KL Roland authorised seller music shop
to buy. The music shop is at Bt Bintang next to Regent hotel KL.

bluelite,

1. PK-5 is 13 key.

2. PK-5 is midi compatible, so you should be able to use it with any controllers.

3. PK-7 has it's own expression pedals and footswitch build into it to work with Roland's VK combo - the ease of use is probably because PK-7 has it's controllers already programmed to the designated cc midi controller numbers. But is should still be able to be used for any other controllers.

4. Although the PK-5 does not come with expression pedals or footswitch, you can easily buy these separately and hook them up to your controller. With a few easy cc programming, you can get your expression pedal to control volume, your footswtich to turn off and on the rotary speakers - just like the PK-7. You can program them to control any other thing you wish to.

another SUNSHINE!!!

haha what u mean dude...

anyway...where can i get it...swee lee's gonna get pk5a but the stocks not in yet...but whats the diff compared to the pk5...

anyway where can i get other kinds of pedal boards? like studiologic? or hammond? or the pk7 ? haha does no one in singapore have it?!?!?! haha

if u want your pedals so badly, just get that one that's offering for $200. pretty cheap already, IMO. if u're going to buy any other models brand new, i can forsee that it's going to cost a lot more than that. esp since such things are not common/popular around here.

another thing, you won't be able to turn a normal synthesizer into an electone by adding midi pedals. if you've got a piano sound on the synthesizer and u've got the pedals plugged in, you're gonna get piano sound in the pedals unless your synth supports keyboard splitting and dual-voice at user-preset note, and that's IF you manage to configure it successfully. They're not as straightforward all the time, i can say so esp for Korg keyboards at least.

"sunshine" is this other user on the forum (a girl, too) who was, like yourself, asking some questions on this forum when she was looking for some keyboard gear.
