It works like a charm, Scott Henderson was one of the first pro testers of the BPSSC. He's demonstrated so on his Xotic Effects videos, and so have other awesome Suhr pro players like Mike Landau and gang.

I don't think it's a cheap and simple process, single coils and single coil noise have been around for ages. Noisecancelling single coils, although doing away with noise, sometimes just doesn't cut it. No other company that I know of has came out with a means to cancel noise without modifying existing single coils on the guitar itself. I've tried out Suhr V60 pickups on a friend's Van Zandt, simply amazing. I don't think they will sound just as good if produced as a stacked noise cancelling single coil.

Just think about the long research and development process that JST had to go through.
