hi there !
is there anywhere in Singapore that sell JEM's parts ?
like the neck, body, hardware, ESP. pickguard !
cant seem to find them in Singapore except the custom shops that can be found on JEMsite and it's fooyoh ! $$$$$$$ :mrgreen:

i think ebay is u're best bet for parts man.
plus you should state wad jem model u're lookin for.

JEM-JR comes in black with black pickguard.

This is your idea of blackening it??

JEM-555 comes in black with pearloid pickguard.
JEM-77V comes in black with Rock-Mirror pickguard.
These are the ones currently still in production....

If you are looking for parts, can try Swee Lee since they are the official distributor of Ibanez. Tell them wat parts u need and they can ship in for you.

yea, that what i meant by blackening it hollowman.
i'm looking to customize it.
as i still want to have the vine inlays like the JEM7V.
i know i'm going to spend some moolah on that neck.
just wondering if i could get any parts in Singapore as it would be more convenient.
i might just get the JEM-Jr and change the neck.

its gonna be challenging, cos the only vine-inlay neck that has a black headstock is the JEM77V for current models. Check out Swee Lee to see if they can help you ship in just the neck?

you can check out Ibanez's website and www.jemsite.com to see which guitar's spec suit you most then do mix-and-match.

the neck is going to be abit tough to get a brand new one. i heard on jemsite that you have to proof to ibanez that you own the guitar and and that the neck has encountered some problem. i dont know how true this is but from the jemsitters, it aint easy getting an original neck from ibanez. you could probably try custom if you really one a vine inlayed neck with a black headstock.

i know abt the neck customization on the JEMsite, might just get the neck from there as i can customize the vine inlays as well.
