Okay softies i have a problem, i just bought this pedal from Guitar77 distortion wise very nice but when the distortion is not on, my clean gets affected and has some overdrive, i have only tweak the circuit for noise gate and bass balance and thats all i did. Is the pedal screwed or it's like that? please help me out! THANKS ALOT!

edit: hyde channel is super soft.
jekyll is still normal.

when the effect is bypassed, there shud not be any form of overdrive.

When trying out at the shop(before buying) were there similar response?

since tomorrow is a public holiday, imho, if you can, bring it back to them(on tuesday) and seek their help to compare it with another J&H to see if its similar.

In the mean time, do try using battery, 9v regulator adaptor(one spot or any other power supply for pedals), change cables etc, try to see if the problem is constant throughout. If it is, then perhaps there might be something wrong within.

Hyde is supposed to be the heavier side with the jekyll pushing it. It doesnt sounds right from the way you put it.

Anyway, best is still go back to the shop and seek their help, to check for the problem.

i tried another pedal in the shop.i meant the same model but different ones they let me try the display and not the new one i got.Now im really afraid that i wasted the money on this pedal for $268 and the warranty for visual sound,will they help me repair or smth like that? please help me out here

try using batts.
it may be due to your power supply

hmm iam using a batt, i think i'll be bringing to g77 tmr and ask abt it really worried about the pedal.
