Jamming studio big enough for 30 people

biopromax: I agree. Chapter 6 biggest studio is the one just besides the counter bar. The one on top is small which is used mainly for recording purposes.
I'm not sure if Jammerzpit is still around, but they do have a very huge room which can house more than 30 ppl. I had a gig there which was abt 6 or 7 yrs ago.
Odiocrib: Still ok to me. But will still be crampy to have 30 pax. I dunno but it is just how I feel.

visa: I agree also. L Cube does have a huge room & it looked cosy with relax atmosphere. For 30 pax, shouldn't be a problem.

soft : i think all the jamming studios stated by the others somewhat don't fit 30 ppl..
wouldn't your better shot would be to get some kind of function room at a CC? if not ask where all those drumliners like the singapore drumfest hold their massive membered band practise sessions?

'basement' studio at Tanglin CC. whitley rd.
sizewise - i'm not sure if it 600 sf but i estimate it is almost thereabout
30 people capacity - easy with some standing with existing cozy sofa sets.
otherwise replace it with standard chairs which can be
placed in 4 x 10 pattern @ 40 persons with some space
for 3 judge table.
ceiling height - well i guess its only normal height --only about 8 ft
just consider n if keen just drop a line to either the music chairman david ng
or studio director andrew at the CC. they are very helpful when there is no
clash with existing slots timing

I'd not look for them IMO.
I took your advice and gave Andrew a call. When he picked up, he asked me if I was a member. I'm not (Funny- I thought CCs were public?).
He then rudely replied that the studios are only for members, and promptly hung up before I could say anything.
I don't see how he is "helpful". I was extremely friendly when I spoke to him, only to receive some pretty disrespectful treatment.
Presumably you had a better experience
