coming from the uk the first thing you'll realise is how ridiculously expensive is. my advice to you in singapore is to avoid the entire clarke quay area especially pump room. or if you can, just avoid drinking until you get back into london. get your fix of music by going to the gigs instead.

London is one of the most expensive cities to live in, more so than Singapore. They're like the Top Three most expensive cities in the world!

You do realise that the UK is a whole lot bigger than London right? And the cost of living over here isn't any better than Singapore's. Yup moved to Aberdeen, Scotland from Singapore

Yeah, London is a pretty damned expensive place to be, I think at the moment it's the most expensive city to live in, save for Oslo, maybe. So, really, I think it's probably much cheaper for me to spend a few weeks in Singapore than it is for a week in London! xo
