9th August, theres our National DAY. With fireworks lighting our skyline at the Esplanade.

You're telling someone from the same country which produced The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, etc....that Singapore has 'majorly awesome' bands in 'epic proportions'?

That's like saying we can beat China in a melee war.

Perhaps if there was something 'uniquely Singaporean' about the bands here, that MIGHT have some appeal to somebody from the UK. After all, there ARE many unique aspects to the way Singaporeans think, speak and communicate. Unfortunately, too many local bands here try too hard to imitate the sound of Brit Rock rather than develop a sound of their own.

I really do not mean to rain on anyone's parade. I'm just pointing out the facts.
