Is this old man correct?

Hi guys, I think we've all been told that the guitar was invented for right handers right? haha
I saw this video on youtube and this old man(seems knowledgable) says it wasn't. Maybe we've gotten the wrong info for yrs?

if its about the thing that its better for left handers to use a right handed guitar since its easier to fret due to the left hand being stronger...
well, i dont think theres a way to proof that the guitar was invented by a left hander...but that principle of getting a lefty to start playing righty is getting to be more and more common nowadays.
even certain established guitar mags recommend that way.

Damn this left and right thing is confusing! haha Actually in my opinion, The guitar is kindof, ONLY KINDOF ambidextrous as u hammer on and pull off with one hand and it requires dexterity and then u pick fast also requires ambidexterity...(FAST SONGS)

actually it's true tat right handed guitars were invented for south paws...as the old man says it is invented by a left handed guy, maybe he thot tat his left hand is not doing much plucking the strings? tat's why..

My drummer is a left-handed
He writes with his left hands and always plays guitar with his right. weird

I can write with both hands (helps a lot in doing homework) but i play the right handed guitar since its cheaper than left handed ones haha.
