is it normal for strumming to sound jerky when keeping with timing

I'm having trouble with understanding timing and how 2 counts can be strummed ? could anyone help .

You are going to have to be much clearer with your actual question before anyone can actually answer it. What do you mean, "how 2 counts can be strummed"?

In response to the title question though, it is not normal for strumming to sound jerky unless you have not practiced it enough.
