anyway.. private teachers are better, yamaha is a dangerous place to learn an instrument from scratch IMO.
based on experiences from me and my friend, we were just like you so high on wanting to drum, few months at yamaha, totally screwed our intrests up. now im on the guitar and he's on the bass. yup but of course there are some successful casses.
