Intro: Mervs

Just dropped in the say hi! People call me Mervs for short or Mervin for long. Been surfing S.O.F.T for some time but never got down to post in the intro section, quite busy with work and all that. In any case, another fellow bassist here, though I’m still light years from the likes of the greats.

Had a bari-sax background and initially wanted to get one. But due to the maintenance and potential neighbor complaints, I opted for an electric bass instead. Never looked back since.

So here I am, nice to meet you guys!

Heh,can't really be helped for me Aki S. Ian. Was the only guy in the section when I was still in sec school band, so it was no-brainer to for the conductor throw me to the bari-sax eventually. My only complaint is that is was really cumbersome to carry around. Even the GPMGs I handled in army were much much ergonomic lol.
