Anyway I was just thinking, to also try to organize a gathering for the intermediate players like myself, and not just acoustic, but also on electric.
Matt (Likui) did something at the last Beginners Unite! gathering which really inspired me. He brought an electric guitar, a portable marshall amp (it ain't no toy man), 2 cables and a distortion pedal. All with batteries included of course. All he did was just plug in and he was ready to go. And so was I mwehehehehehe....
Yeah so I was thinking that for those who are interested in learning from each other electric wise maybe we can also try investing on our individual portable mini marshall amps. They cost about $60 at Davis guitar and they come with their own overdrive, although for me i prefer to bring my own heavier sounding pedal.
I will be buying my own mini amp for this as well as a cheap electric guitar. Can't really bring my Dean ML due to awesomeness reasons xD
