Input jacks

i know theres not much meaning to my topic but its for my curiosity, how many of you prople prefer fender strats kinda input jacks(front) and the gibson kinda jack(bottom)?

The JEM style jack for RG type bodies is superb. Its like the jack does't stick out awkwardly.

i always have trouble putting it in the hole. bad aiming la. i prefer the one at the front.

My guitar has a Gibson-style jack at the bottom, I find it more appealing that Fender style inputs, since it's tucked away at the bottom and you can just plug it in and forget about it unless you trip over the wire or something

the gibson input jackis nice because it's not so obvious to the eye. it doesn't stick out infront like a fender.

but i feel the fender input jack is better secured because it is angled.

with that over, haha i love my neutrik jack! its at the bottom, gibson style... its secure as heck, and i've leant that if u want a secure plugin with a gibson style jack, use an L-shape head cable, it helps =)

i've seen some guitars with jacks at other places other than the gibson/fender ones. right now, i cant recall. darn.

well well. i think any jack is cool. but chris do take note of sumthing: wat happens if i trip on my cables? the cable comes outta my jack. wat if u trip on ur cables? ur neutrik jack enables u to fall flat on ur face and at the same time onto or own bass. damned cool id say. 8)

I have to agree that strat's jack socket make it really sexy :lol:

And SG, is the ugliest of all guitars :lol:
