impressive yet affordable

Cort have always had pretty high quality parts on them.
Wilkinson trems, Duncan pups... the sad thing is people shun them because of the un-glam brand name and the country it is manufactured in... :(

we need to shed this kinda mentality that a certain country of origin holds a superior production standard than others. we know where Gibsons are made in but some of these guitars are downright lacking in certain constructional/ finish aspects.

if we are to take things back say a decade ago, then i'd be agreeing on this country of origin issue, but things took a turn at the end of last century for the better.

another good, intense distortion type pedal in the market: Marshall Jackhammer.

i got the jackhammer.. but i dont know how to set it properly.. i dont know exactly which knob is for what anyone care to enlighten me?

just tried some hamers at luther today..they sound surprisingly not bad..or maybe because we tested it on that nice vox amp lol.

for me impressive yet affordable is my zoom hybrid distortion....

some even say one of the function sound like a marshall amp....u decide if u get 1 of it if still available ard

hehe... that's so discontinued...

luckily i have a Zoom Hyper Lead, which while not being as versatile as the Hybrid distortion... covers an incredibly wide range of classic rock sounds.

fans of hard distortion, this diminutive pedal is a down-right aggressor, when it first debuted, it wasn't even $100...

Danelectro Black Coffee

i own that...i love how it sounds since i can get some nice crisp trebles from it...

i like trebles..

i'd rather ZOOM retain those pedals in their catalogues & not come up with the budget multi-FX units like the 505 (which are also discontinued).

i have the 505II which i think not that bad, but just that the sounds are rather "fake". dont like the tone but just that have a lot of varieties...

Behringer

How bout Behringer products? Rip-offs they may be but whats the quality like?

have any1 tried the X V-AMP or the V-TONE GUITAR GDI21? are they good for their price?

i think in the showroom, the X V-AMP goes for $110 and the V-TONE GUITAR GDI21 goes for $60

i'm looking to buy the behringer gd121. heard it's quite good, but cant compare to the gt2...

and it's damn cheap, just my budget. so maybe next time can combine with other pedals. different tones mah...
