yea i using kh-15 , no need use pedal meh ? the amp distortion like -.- ... wad eq setting for KH-15 playing metal ah ?? and also which pedal better ? betta alvin HM2000 or MT 2 ???

hehe i was just joking. thought u own the actual signature amp. LOL.

yeah the hm200 is much better. i used to own the MT2. the hm200 kicks ass for its price, seriously. but do keep your options open, yeah. the biyang metal end kings sounds not bad. check the hm200 and the biyang pedal at standard value.

+1 to the biyang mek, play with all 3 before and the MEK gets my thumps up, kinda regret that i sold mine away...if its withtin your budget, i would say the MEK. however, try all the 3 and se which u like since they are all 3 diff. pedals end of the day...for the amp, used to own b4, to me its hard to get a good eq out of the amp, guess you got to tweak it to your liking.

To xuanzang:

Multi-effects generally work well with amplifiers, but they're designed to not require an amplifier, so you have the option of plugging into an amplifier, or plugging directly into a mixer and PA system.

Usually they sound better direct, but my Floor POD sounds good through my amplifier, so yeah. Works fine.

when you bring your multi fx to jam, with those hugeass marshalls, you can just use it for the modulations and delays lol

ya thats what i mean, but when you go into a decent studio, the amp more or less covers the gain needs. i just find the distortion too damn digital.

Agreed. So far two half-stacks that I've found that have good cleans and distortion are the Ibanez Toneblaster 100H and Marshall AVT150X. Often, I only need to bring my guitar.

So actually it would be quite good if xuanzang buys a multi-effects. He also gets to experiment with the effects and decide what types of effects he will use and not use, and then he can decide and plan in the future if he wants to build a pedalboard. He can learn more with a multi-effects than a stand-alone distortion pedal...

oh i see. still having trouble about pedals tho. long way to learn. so much stuff. loooper, phaster, delay, gain, distortion. -.- i just bought a 2nd hand vox tonelab LE :D:D

very hard to use sia. so many stuffs. anyone can teach me how to make like slash tone in sweet child o mine!
