Ibanez Rg 550

the '2' in your RG250 indacates that it's in the lower order of the hierarchy, while the '50' means it's sharing similar attributes namely a HSH pickup combo/ pickguard/ floating bridge 8)

Yeah, I know sub, but really does look exactly the same...
Well, accept for the TRS bridge though...

The price is still very high even if you are expecting RG Prestige tag except for 3000 series and J-custom. Usually Ibanez prices in Singapore are not much different from US but this one is different. May be because they are limited editions?

yes, the Anniversary RG is a limited production unit, hence the asking price.

PS: if you have a specific dislike for a certain retailer/ distributor, please address this on a personal note. it is the economics of business for dealers to inflate the prices of their products on grounds of profit, the amount of which might be unethical to some of us but it isn't something a mere retort would curtail.

Yup, limited at 1987 pieces.. Worth keeping. I have kept mine too - a '95 RG550Dy with original rosewood fretboard bought at Swee Lee Plaza Sing:

Hail the RG550 Reissue!!

hahaha... people who don't even know about the limited production of the RG 20th Anni are commenting on the price.

allriteyy everyone topics getting a bit out of hand. Theres still a chance for you guys to have a chance on this limited edition although it is 'expensive'.

i do agree, compare them relatively.. gibsons are currently priced way off as compared to 10 yrs ago.

but the comparison here is between the price of rg20th overseas & locally. yeap, prs/gibsons are the real "expensive" stuffs.

hope you find a buyer :)
