Thank you all for those who replied,... playing thet 5 strings for the first time is really confusing,... i kept playing the b string as the e string from a 4 string bass,....hehehe
well,... guess have to keep on practicing,..


hope to see some of you in real person,.. like a grand bass eyeball or something,... sharing new tricks like the bass day in US. hehehe

congrats on your purchase... where did u get the K5 from in the end?

IMO singapore doesn't have a good variety of basses for sale, except for yamaha where you can order in nearly all of their available stuff. However, prices throughout singapore are relatively high (small country, less musicians, less purchases made)

(i was actually aiming for the sr505 model but they dun have it on stock.)
yes i was able to get the ibanez fieldy K5 signature model,.

I went first to sweelee but the pretty lady already purchased the K5,. then sweelee told me that it is the only one in singapore, they have to order and that it would take another 3 to 4 months time cos it is a limited edition.

then I went to music clef in suntec and ask if they could order for me,. well they have one on-stock,...and they also gave it to me cheaper! only 1700 including the ibanez hard case and cables and everything!!

o,.btw, the pretty lady who bought the same model from sweelee paid it for 1800,.. just the bass alone,....
