I nid Pedals!! behringer TO100/OD100?? boss ds1/metalzone??

how much does it cost all it all to get the MT2 and get it modded.. this randolf guy no website?

GT2 too ex, looking at behringer GDI-21 instead..

You know... for all your cost cutting measures... you might end up with something lesser. True, you can use cheap stuff that sound pretty good... but then, since when was good stuff cheap?

I would advise you to take the Behringer GDI21 with a fistful of salt. Go test it thoroughly before buying it.

yea its the amt one...but i dun think they have the fatal tube in stock only the fatal tube clone, which has extra "mike" and "combo" knobs supposedly to emulate an amp.Its going for $180

His website is http://www.embryosongs.com/
or
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=107965

For quotations and to test out his mods
e-mail him at randolf@embryosongs.com to fix an appointment.

As for the Behringer ....
lets put it this way,
if it spoils, to fix it might come up to the price of the pedal ...
to buy the same pedal again ... you already waste ur time and more $.
Spend afew more dollars get something good and reliable, you end up saving more in the long run~

to be honest ...
the Behringer GDI-21 no comparison to the GT2 ...~
Luther told me himself, felt so stupid and paiseh for asking dat question ...
It's the same reason why ppl buy a Behringer strat ,.... and you wanna compare dat to a Fender ???

less than a $100.. a small fry dun nid anything too fancy n stuff.. juz nid it for jamming purposes..

For that kinda price I really reccomend buying a 2nd hand Boss. They are damn tough and get traded all the time so no need worry about the condition too much. DS-1 can get around $50-$60. MT-2 I mentioned already.

The advantage of buying a 2nd hand Boss over the Beringhers is that you can sell them back on the 2nd hand market for exactly or almost exactly the price at which you bought it, if you ever want to upgrade.

Here's a picture of my MT2

MT2 modded by Randolf

oh,
the on/off LED at the top isnt really showing coz i asked Randolf to install a "DISCO-LED", i must have clicked it while it was changing between colours

GT2 good! Took me quite a while to realise it. You really have to play around with the controls, and people who are impatient like me to get a good sound will get fed up with it. With an amp, I turn the eq down to 9 oclock, and it works fine. With PA, can use as in the manual.

Pier.

Behringer pedals low prices are tempting but they have not been proven to last, so the best to do is to have a wait and see attitude.

Boss pedals are still the best, they can last quite a bit and have a better resale value.

The GT2 is expensive is because it has more functions, its a amp modeler and a DI, and hence the higher price, it is also a sturdy pedal which also has a better resale value. You can get them second hand easily also, every now and then there will be people sellin them at luther ads.

The GDI21 is 1/3 the price of the GT2 because they simply copied the thing, there is no cost involved in developing the product.

ok thx ppl.. will go down swee lee and hv a look.. since there's 40% on boss.. tink i'll go with a DS-2 judging from the sound demos HERE..

Try it through an amp similar to what you are using usually. Amps play quite a big part too.

My overdrive works fine for my amp but i've tried it through some others and it sounds like ass.

some people are prejudiced against behringer cuz they're cheap...

humans are like that... when things are too cheap to be true to them, they suck... when the same thing shich has gone through the same production line has ×3 the price, they're the best things in the world...

i wonder who's laughing now in heaven?

go ahead and talk bout cheap labour in china all u want... its a fact

Cheap can also be good. Just take a look at the amount of following the Bad Monkey OD has gathered at the Fender Forum.

While it may be cheap compared to a ts808, it is certainly more than a match. made in China somemore.

hey how abt the line 6 uber metal stompbox..sounded nice to me when i tried at one of my friends' studio. And y dont i c many ppl using the BOSS MD2? The mega distortion..i normally prefer md2 when jamming w/o my multifx since it aint tht hot like mt2, bt much stronger than ds 1. Gives u a more versatile edge over distortion/overdrive.

Don't think anybody here said the Beringhers don't sound good.

We just stating the fact that it is copied. Which may or may not be something people like.

And we stating that the chasis is made of cheap plastic, which is unlikely to last as long as a Boss pedal.

20 years from now I can probably still sell my Boss pedal for the value I bought it.
20 years from now the Beringher is probably in pieces.

Unless you kept it in a box and never brought it out of your house. Then I like I said, it suits your needs, buy it.

MD-2 was my 1st pedal, not bad, decent, but I still think the ibanez smashbox is a better buy, u shld really go try it, good for rythm, good for lead too! i find that theres sum warmth in it too
