I have a guitar,i need a paint job

anyway it cost me more than 4 cans of clear coat spray juz to make it like a factory finish. I guess a oiled finish will be easily, or maybe stained wood finish

btw something about chemical stripper, it kind of sting into my skin when it touch my skin. be sure to wear a glove or something, anyway pp said that the 1st clear coat is the hardest to get rid off, but i bought the chemical stripper (the brand with a jaquar head), it get rid off the clear coat pretty fast (btw i do this one my cheap strat copy guitar, maybe the clear coat is different), and mange to strip off everything until the sealer part i believe. It cant get rid of, and i ended up hand sanding off with a sand paper which took me nearly 3 days

Hey guys if you're interested i have quite a good e-book on painting guitars by yyourself. It also has instructions on how to do the EVH, Zakk wylde bulls eye and even rebel flag designs. PM or email me if interested.

er.... so in the end, i think most ppl find guitar workshop n guitar connection do the best paint jobs. can u all recommend which is better ? thx

ultimately, u need to go down yourself and check out the work they can do.

this new dude in the nite grind, guitarist Adi [plays in Enigma, the club working band]. does good body paint jobs, i like what he's done for my bass-player's 2 axes. even did a good refurnish/restore on his 78 Fender Jazz.
