How to hold/carry guitar on motorbike

Ok, this seems ridiculous, but I need to find a solution soon... getting my bike in 2 weeks' time ^^

I have thought about the question for some time... maybe I will just wear the straps of the softcase...

Any suggestions...? Would be greatly appreciated!

I have yet to try riding to jam sessions carrying my guitar and pedals on a bike, abit unsafe i guess. Especially when im riding a sportsbike.

Theres a few possibilities though, ask your pillion to hold it for you, or like goose suggest, vespa is the way to go. I've seen uncles carrying those tall fans on it also. Hahahaha.

Other then that, i suggest you go public or drive. Be safe then sorry. XD

I've seen 2 guys, carrying 2 guitars on a bike before.
The rider strapped his gigbag on to himself, and the pillion had his on his own back. Very unsafe, and they were riding the honda kap.

there are also regular gig bags with similar straps on the back which will allow u to wear it on a bike.

this is crazy.I'll never take my guitar on a bike if i ever get one.just too clumsy and tp might halt you for oversized object.

Carrying a guitar is already a problem..

But what if you have a bloody huge pedalboard?

hahah im thinking about the same thing too. i was thinking of doing it batman and robin style. get an extra seater and attach it on the scooter, then dump your gears in it. inspired by the mobile ice cream selling uncles. something like this.

but then again, how to get that extra seater thing?

so is there really such thing as an oversized object on a bike? im quite sure im bigger than my guitar...
