How to go KL cheap

I need the cheapest airline/train/bus ticket prices to KL. Anyone knows? I've been googling for the past half an hour, but im not really good at it. Got a few deals around the hundreds for flight, but bloody hell, that's not within our budget. would really appreciate some of your help, going there to perform on the 23rd of January. help!

I think there's a bus from bugis bus no. 140+, not sure exactly the no. $1+

I don't think there are SBS or SMRT buses that go to KL. Its a 6 hours trip!

Anyway, you should go to companies like Grassland or Konsortium. I used to work in Konsortium and if I remember correctly, one-way trips cost $25.

its under 50 for thru and fro.

if you really wanna save yourself some cash, you can buy a one way tic there. and when you get there, buy a ticket from there back. but how much cheaper is totally negligible if you ask me. so i recommend the 2-way ticket.

stay at hostels, there are a couple of really good hostels at bangsar and Tingkat Tong Shin at central KL.

thanks guys, but was thinking more of a bus to bukit bintang. my gig is held at cloth and clef bukit bintang area. is there any bus straight to bukit bintang for 2 way trip?

go to transtar travel agency at lavender mrt. u will see it once you exit the station control. i took a premium bus at 41 bucks last month. i hope that helps.

Cheapest method IMO ... Take an SBS bus to JB. From the JB Bus Terminal(think it's at Larkin) go and buy tickets to KL. Should be cheaper, as it's in RM. Or you can just hitchhike on the tonnes of lorries which go from JB to KL, but that's bit extreme.

LOL @ THAT. not that cheap also. Bike maintanence very high. couple of h2o drinks or 100 plus. food. lol. hahaha anyway, coaches nowadays are cheap. or buses. all the best.

but its fun leh... as long as per person get an extra seat beside u. then can put the gears. just like how me n my band did a few years back playing at desaru... can train 45mins ferry but we missed it. took bus to larkin then another bus to desaru. take it like a road trip ah. fun n shiokness

At leat 1 member of the band or your followers must have car or at least a driving license ...

DRIVE UP to KUL - except for the petrol - It's the cheapest way

you want train? take 160/170 to johor, stop checkpoint, Look for the train station, near city square JB, book train there, cheaper. my bro used that way going to KL, it was fun in the train, ciggs, food,drinks,open air abit. dont take train from singapore.
