How to give your band exposure

You know what, that might be interesting. Will have to make sure the interviewers aren't camera shy though. And I've got a video cam, so that's no problem. :D Thanks for the input there!

But seriously... Ammy T?

well , it's just this simple, pre-requisites : have a band, bio, website, demo cd etc ready, and NOT camera shy. you're not eligible for it if they don't have any of those.

and yes Ammy T. like give it a cool twist from Amanda -> Amy/Mandy sounds common. Ammy (pronounced Emmy). the T part is kinda inspired by Simpsons..

Homer : "finally after all these years I'll find out what my real middle name is... (Homer J. Simpson)"

jeng jeng jeng.

"oh my name is Homer... JAY! simpson..."

haha.. I thought that was killer. the next time someone ask ya "what T" means.. "Tee is my surname" "no I mean the long form of T.." "Tee la." "nono not the alphabet.." btw don't take it the wrong/offensive way. it's unique, just a suggestion. cheers

We did 2 -3 interviews fortnightly in 2004 for 5 months. In the end, we couldn't take it, switching over to a monthly schedule. You might wanna try that instead of suggesting that to fored to do it. Why not help her as well?

You might wanna start with listing the bands you'd like to interview. Buffer at least a month in advance. So you'd need 12 bands.

One thing, Gummy BeaR, most bands are pretty bored of these 3 questions.

1) How did you guys meet to form the band?
2) Why are you guys called "blah-blah"?

The most devastating interview mood killer of all time -

3) What do you think of the local scene? How you think you can help to improve it?

Good luck!

Yea 3 bands per week would be a killer. I'm still schooling leh. Long days! That's more like a full-time job - maybe worse. Hahaha.

xspace: I'm sharing the domain with a friend, we bought/rented(?) it under siteground. I think the email thing was given by siteground. Neither of us use it though.

Agingyouth: Thanks for the tip! Will keep those in mind. ;)

I think it'll take some time for me to come up with the content, design the site, do my homework, study for tests. But i'll keep you guys informed! If anyone has more ideas, feel free to share!
