sure the rail /stack single coil would be of help..
but ...the issue here is getting a 24 fret without intstalling a new neck..
thats what the guy did...

as for the caparison...it looks cool but i would prefer a Kiko`s tagima better

No no... dude, its just a silly pun. :)

Someone online once mentioned he had those rail type single coils in the neck, so using his bridge humbucker, he could "fret" on the single coil and achieve like a 25th fret note or something.

Very hilarious when you read it.

And yes, that guy is into 80s over the top shredding. :P

I've been talking to the USA Tagima importers about the K1, who is endorsed by Tagima (his sig tagima is the one with a wilkinson trem) and he claims that the K1 is an awesome guitar, well built and hand built too. Interesting. Costs about 1k cheaper than the Caparison but... the Caparison Horus/Apple Horn, they have this... tone. Its quite obvious, some of the clips on youtube, that the Caparisons have a different tone, they call it their "reknown midrange tone" or something on their website. That's the thing drawing me to the Caparison. Plus, their 24 3/4" neck with a full maho body... with Mattias playing in Drop C or Drop B, it still retains ridiculous clarity! Pity the Caps come with schaller floyds compared to the K1 and its gotoh.

well worth the 3k if its retain clarity for 24.75 scale thats able to do low tuning.
hey man ..why not you built a frankenstein caparison ur own?..i belive u gave a mag body in ur possession right?

oh one more thing, the caparison..sustain and harmonics ..killer man..

It will be hard to build my own... my maho body has already been routed for a HSS, so i will have to really butcher it to fit a 27 fret neck on it, not to mention carving a deeper cutaway.

Its clarity is amazing. I mean, mahog and 24.75", drop B tuning, its like asking for trouble but it still retains crunch and clarity.

The harmonics is something else also... I can't get that kind of harmonics Mattias can get. Its scary.
