WOAH!! i nvr seen a guitar that offset b4..hmm..i think shouldn't be a problem ar..but, might affect the sound by abit.the sound might not be that clear ar, i guess

if it wouldnt affect much i dont wanna fill and reroute the guitar. Tight budget constrain im trying to customize this guitar lol.

dammit.. MIK guitars shldnt be like that ! dam.

hmmm zarin its not true u wont be even be able to re-string it the string will be not be in a straight position

cause hes cavity is ok except the slight mistake that is made at the left side of the cavity which is not sawn correctly

Whats wrong with the alignment? Looks fine.

Have you seen the bridge? Its a TRS correct? I'm assuming it is because the routing looks like a TRS trem routing.

Put the pups back in, put the trem back in, aligned with the trem posts and all, then restring - the strings should all line up.

I think when you do this - it will become apparent why the routing looks misaligned - it has to do with the design of the trem.

Mount the bridge. String the 2 E strings. If they're off allignment, you might have to shift the neck by unscrewing the 4 screws on the joint, and pulling the neck upwards. If that STILL doesn't work, then a neck shim might help.

Haven't you noticed this problem before?

Oh, and not all trem posts are mounted symetrically for all guitars. There are some which are off...

That's what little I know...

Yah.

When you look at the Gotoh floyds or the TRS, on side of the floyd (where the arm is) is notch where the knife edge is. The opposite side - no notch... just a straight knife edge.

This is so that you can retrofit these floyds on to a variety of trem post spacings.

Look at the Ibanez Edges, Schaller Floyds... both sides are notched - you need strict post spacings or no can do.

I thought Ibz bridges only one side is notched? I think my lo-pro edge on my 7 string is only 1 side lei...

What he said! Don't judge the alignment based on the cavity as some posts are offset. String the guitar and you will know for sure

PS looks ok to me...

Ya wat... 1 side onli mah... Or are we talking about different things altogether? The blades in the pivot joints, one side got notch, the other dun haf...

Oh... yes, we were talking abt different things :P

The Edges have the 2 "notches" are the sides, then there is the knife edge blades inside of which on side is notched while the other is not.

I was referring to the 1st mention of "notch".

ok , its totally off. i swear. The exposed Pickup part ( not coverd by the strings ) is more towards the low E string.
