how much do u know abt acappella?

i would like to know how acappella works? any formations or roles? any guide? minium of how many ppl or something?
would greatly appreciate any form feedbacks of pointers...

Hihi... I am definitely not an expert on the subject, but what I can tell you is that the acappella is a harmony of sound, forming a chord. Actually the representation of sound in this manner is melodious enough to please and thus there is no need for acoustic accompaniment.
If you are talking about the blending of notes, the minimum you can go is 2, but if you want a good acappella sound try 5... or if you have relly strong singers maybe 4. Hope this helps!

Ah. Perhaps you may think it's a bit gay. Ok, fair enough. A good number of youths nowadays see such singing techniques as gay... because they have their basics in chorale- type singing. Which is sad, because such is the correct way to sing without strain.
Perhaps seeing singers like Whitney Houston sing in the past can give you an idea of how powerful technical singing can be?

actually acapelle is just like your guitar or piano playing a melody with triads.. so if say you think this part deserve a extra 3rd n 5th den you'll need 2 other guys 2 harmonize it with you.most of the song i hear uses a dub, an octave and normally a 3rd. this is to feature the lead singer more but giving the lead singer a very warm sounding voicing. If you take a look at J3,they'll normally take a -3rd(meaning 3 note down from melody) and a 5th..i might be wrong because there are just so many ways you can acapelle.. the basic is a 3 man team(ladies too!) and in lehman term it'll be 1 lower 1 main n 1 higher..which falls back to a basic triad forming technique..

oh yea, is it true that you need serious skills to do acapella? and is it hard to arrange? (esp. if u have a beat boxer etc.)
