How is T-Rex's Bloody Mary pedal?

BlueArk customised his DS1.... we were @ G77 a long time back and we a/b-ed with someone else's Keeley DS1.

Ark's DS1 mod blew away the keeley.

It was able to do everything the keeley did and more.

The owner of the keeley DS-1 wasn't too happy though...

if you are looking for a really chugga chugga heavy low end pedal, i dont think the bloody mary will cut it for you. to me it sounds really tinny, fizzy with very little low end.

d-akui, why can't decide?

Hear liao, your ears don't tell you anything?

Pls explain... if you are new to the whole thing, tell us why you find it hard to decide, then we can help chip in.

This is going to be my first time buying a pedal and it all sounds good to me. I just don't want to waste money.

if ur not sure u wnt something dont buy it...

an opinion is not what shld make u buy a pedal..if you like how something sounds...lets it be calledn tinny or fizzy or buzzy of flabby...buy it if u like it...

but definitely check out the krank before u buy this...for one thing its much cheaper...Ive heard bhelliom use ds-1 with an eq and sound pretty darn good...non keeley modded...keeley mods are way too exp for what they are...

Compare what you hear to your favourite bands.

Then you would be able to get a better idea of what's good - which is what sounds good to you.

we are in negotiation with krank to bring the distortus maximus in.

as for the nano metal muff and bloody mary, swing by our shop to try them out. we've got those in stock.

Is there no place in SG where I can try the Distortus Maximus? I went to tested a lot of pedals yesterday and so far SansAmp GT2 seems to be the best, but I'll like to try the Krank one first before making any decisions.

its better to ask people who own it and see if they can let you have a try. if you wana wait till someone here brings it in, it might be awhile.

Do you guys think the Distortus Maximus is better or the SansAmp GT2? From your personal experience with both.
