able to tell me your router brand and the specs of your built in wireless
sometimes u mite nd to move a good distance away from the router probably about 2 to 3 metres
sometimes encounter this problem when troubleshooting customers' network setup
very hard to explain but sometime it works

Its a Dlink and I think its a DI524

Wireless network adapter on my laptop is an Intel Pro/wireless 3945ABG

Need to check on the distance issue. Sometimes we have the laptop on while watching tv in the living room and connection still sucks...

Oh and I'm using Starhub's cheapest option. :mrgreen:
