how do you do it?

a roll! how to do it properly? if i am unlucky, i will hit both sticks on the drum at the same time after a few hits...which suck

any remedy? other than practice...

Yeah, to add on to what snow said, the drum meet up will be on the third saturday of EVERY month. So you may join us next month since you can't make it this month!

Sad to say, there is no other way to master rolls other than through practice.
